LAST SHOW FOR 2004!
This Saturday night looks to be the final show of 2004 for the band before Tegh's annual migration north to Kenya. With Jerk and Imagine Nation on board it promises to be a huge night - those of you who were there at the corresponding show last year will remember how huge it was! Hope we can see you all there!
SHADES OF DUST + SUNKLOTO + JERK = HUGE END TO 2004!
That's right, check out the Tours page for details of the show for this Sunday at the Fallout Festival with Sunkloto, and our show on 13th November with Jerk! There will be loads of changes over the Xmas period as well, including a brand new website, so if you have any suggestions of what you would like to see on here get over to the messageboard and make your thoughts known!
NEW SHOWS BOOKED ... SHADES OF DUST + DEVOLVED!
There's a whole bunch of new shows on the Tours page: Great shows with Decemption (including our first show down at the Gold Coast), a huge show with our good friends Japunga, and to top it all off, a show with the undisputed champions of Australian metal - DEVOLVED. For all the details of these gigs check out the Tours page. Stay tuned for more dates in September.
AN UPDATE (FINALLY)
Shades Of Dust hit the stage again TONITE, 23rd June, headlining at the Basement with Facelift from Lismore, Nux Vomica, and Uruk Hai. We are also playing with Facelift on their home turf on Thursday. See the Tours page for more details.

'NEW NOISE' FEATURE
ARTICLE FOR SHADES OF DUST

with a great article. To read it and post your comments, go to the Noise
Theory website. Thanks to everyone who supported us this year whether

NOISETHEORY.NET
REVIEW OF 'NO PATHS TO COMFORT'
Noisetheory.net has given 'No Paths To Comfort' a very positive
review! Read it now at the Noise
Theory website. In coming weeks Shades
Of Dust will also be featured in their New Noise section, something we
are very happy about! Here's a snippet from the review to whet your appetite:
"I have to hand it to Brisbane. They pump out more quality
metal bands than Melbourne pumps out heroin addicts. Another
testament to this is
Shades of Dust with their debut full-length, 'No Paths To Comfort'.
Their brand of groove-driven metal should attract fans of Soulfly,
Japunga,
Disturbed, Papa Roach and maybe even something like Hatebreed."
GOING OUT WITH A BANG
Shades Of Dust have finished 2003 with a huge bang, giving their
best performance to date at the Edinburgh Castle. Thanks to everybody who
came to the show (or any show this year for that matter!), rest assured
that 2004 is going to be huge! Stay tuned for news of some HUGE shows in
January, and possible tours in the first quarter of 2004.
LAST SHOW FOR 2003
This Saturday night, 6th December, will be the last Shades Of
Dust show for 2003. Thanks to everyone who has been to a show, bought merchandise,
and supported us in any way. This year has been great, and things are only
going to get better in 2004. Stay tuned for January and February gig dates!
